Just pick up the call and tell them to “please hold” and put the phone on mute and leave it there until they disconnect. Waste their time. Their time is money and if you tie them up on a call with no results, it counts against the telemarketer’s individual rating. Hopefully this can lead to them not trying it anymore.

Blocking numbers won’t work, because they are using a caller-ID spoofer that can send any data they want.
